Introduction
CAA South Central Ontario wanted a cost-effective way to engage members, increase store visits, and provide a promotional product that delivered real long-term value. Traditional giveaway items like blankets and trunk organizers were useful, but they lacked ongoing visibility and everyday relevance.
Our Solution
ReturnMe partnered with CAA South Central Ontario to provide branded recovery key tags connected to a global lost-and-found recovery service. Members received the tags as part of a renewal promotion and could activate them online, by phone, or through a QR code.

Result
The campaign successfully drove member engagement, with 66% of targeted members visiting stores to claim their ReturnMe recovery tags. Compared to other promotional products, the ReturnMe program delivered a significantly better return on investment in terms of price, branding, and execution.
Members responded extremely positively to the service. One CAA Ontario board member shared that after her son lost his keys at work, ReturnMe contacted them before he even realized the keys were missing — and he had them back before leaving work that day.
Following the success of the campaign, CAA South Central Ontario expanded the program into its “On-board” membership initiative and began reviewing circulation across all southern Ontario members. The program also gained attention from other CAA and AAA chapters across North America.
